Throughout the second trimester of SAE, We were given a project where we had to create an object where we had to model it, unwrap it and in the end texture it and animate it. So I decided to work on something that I started before I came to SAE which was a shotgun, back then when i created it I didn’t know much about how to make a good texture, so it kind of sucked but It worked in the end, that’s all that mattered.

Using multiple images I created a Shotgun based off of the S.P.A.S 12 Shotgun.
When I first started modeling i started in a free program called Blender 3D, and this is where i made this but i didn’t finish it.
I decided to continue this project when i started at SAE so I imported my half finished model in 3Ds Max.
I unwrapped the shotgun model in 3Ds max into two different Unwraps so that the texture could be high quality, and moved them both over to photoshop to texture them.
After texturing them both I rendered it in a simple turnaround, with a few little animations here and there to give the weapon some character and rendered it in three different views – Solid Colour, Textured and a Wireframe mode
I decided to use more realistic textures to this model to test my skill on creating them.
Standard Colour, no textures applied.
Finished final showcase.
